“WOW helped us to get crystal clear on our brand promise, values, purpose and even the structure of our company. Although we were selling our products around the world, we were constantly battling with direction, licensing and global perception.
We now refer to our core values to guide every decision we make and we proudly post our goals for everyone to see. It has lead to new products, new markets and better internal alignment. It has changed the way we do business.”

Wibit - The evolution of waterplay
Looking to make a splash
Realizing they needed to do something drastic to completely differentiate from their competition and all the knock-off products, our client AVIVA Sports (who designed and manufactured a series of inflatable water-toy product lines) came to us to help them on the idea of creating an inflatable and modular obstacle course for the water - really, quite like nothing ever seen or imagined before.
Looking at nature, the frog seemed a perfect metaphor for this new product, as it would be all about leaping, and climbing and swimming on the water. From that, we came up with the new name Fibi (a playful derivation on the word amphibious), and created a new brand identity with a stylized frog-hand that popped off the second “i” in the name. As it turned out though, a small, (but willing to fight for it’s name) pre-school in Germany also had the name - and had registered it too.
With AVIVA or Fibi, being headquartered in Germany we realized we had a new challenge on our hands now! We’ve already got an identity that out client loves - they even had test product produced with the new Fibi logo mark - but now we needed to create a new name that shares the same creative and amphibious spirit - and can hopefully still fit the frog-hand logo we’d created.
Low and behold, with a bit additional name-play, we came up with Wibit, inspired by the musical noise a frog makes: ribit, ribit.... and a name that was short enough, and conveniently shared the same letters, that we could still work in our frog-hand logo.
Let the games begin!
We even worked with Wibit to develop the concept behind the WAGA Aquagames - the governing body that organizes and sets standards for worldwide water sport events, and all held exclusively on Wibit products.
Through our ongoing relationship with Wibit, we’ve helped them develop the graphic and colour application for their products, designed clothing for users and Wibit referees and also helped design their brochures, trade shows and even vehicle graphics.
